The Healthy Life Forum successfully concluded at the Lomonosov Cluster of the Sparrow Hills Innovation Scientific and Technological Centre of Moscow State University. This year, the Forum showcased groundbreaking medical technologies and advanced frameworks designed to accelerate the widespread adoption of wellness principles, seamlessly integrating scientific breakthroughs into everyday clinical practice. The Forum was organized by the Roscongress Foundation’s Healthy Life ecosystem with the official support from the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
In 2026, the Forum served as a platform for dialogue between leading Russian experts and prominent global representatives spanning the CIS, BRICS, and SCO nations. The Forum drew over 2,000 delegates, industry experts, participants, and media professionals. The event welcomed 10 foreign delegations, including representatives from the Republic of Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Sultanate of Oman, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Abkhazia, the Republic of South Ossetia, and the CIS Executive Committee. As part of its business programme, the Forum hosted more than 20 specialized expert sessions.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova attended the opening ceremony, where she outlined the evolution of the healthcare sector and future strategic milestones established under the national Healthcare Development Strategy until 2030. She emphasized that the primary focus remains on frontline healthcare — including feldsher-midwife stations (rural medical and obstetric stations), outpatient clinics, central and district hospitals, and polyclinics — as these essential institutions serve as the public’s first point of care, driving disease prevention, early detection, and continuous outpatient monitoring. “Beginning in 2025, we accelerated the expansion of our nuclear medicine infrastructure, outfitting clinical facilities with advanced PET and SPECT/CT scanners, cyclotrons, and other specialized hardware for radionuclide diagnostics and targeted patient therapies,” noted Tatyana Golikova. “We project that by 2030, our national inventory of this advanced equipment will nearly double. Concurrently, we are building out robust infrastructure to optimize public access to emergency medical care while continuing to upgrade our federal clinics. By 2030, our strategic objectives include constructing and modernizing over 4,000 medical facilities and procuring more than 45,000 medical devices — nearly half of which will be sourced from domestic manufacturers.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin sent an official greeting to the participants, guests, and organizers of the Healthy Life Forum, emphasizing that education, the promotion of physical fitness, a healthy and active lifestyle, and international medical partnerships occupy a central place on the Forum’s agenda.
“The Healthy Life Forum has once again solidified its position as a premier healthcare event, a platform for international dialogue, a venue for exchanging expertise, and a showcase for pioneering developments and cutting-edge projects,” noted Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation. “Achieving our goals to extend healthy life expectancy is a complex challenge. Platforms of this caliber allow us to identify the most effective opportunities for interaction, partnership, and cooperation, both among the regions of the Russian Federation and on the global stage.”
Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko moderated the plenary session titled “Best National and Regional Practices in Public Health.” He noted that international participants shared valuable insights highlighting how deep synergy between healthcare, culture, sports, and other key sectors is essential to extending lifespans and sustaining public health, with advanced technologies acting as a powerful accelerator for these initiatives. “Egypt demonstrated critical advancements in genetic research, the fight against infectious diseases, and the early diagnosis of malignant tumors — themes that were also echoed in the presentations delivered by our colleagues from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Belarus,” the Minister emphasized.
Furthermore, Murashko highlighted that in Russia today, virtually every national project embeds a comprehensive framework focused on proactive prevention: “This is evident in the ‘Long and Active Life’ national project, which is actively expanding a network of outpatient facilities and women’s health clinics nationwide. It is equally central to the ‘Family’ national project, which prioritizes reproductive health preservation and sustaining high birth rates, as well as the ‘New Technologies for Health Preservation’ national project, where preventive medical measures remain a vital cornerstone.”
Mikhail Murashko, Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, and Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population of the Arab Republic of Egypt, took part in an official tour of the Healthy Life exhibition space. The pavilion showcased cutting-edge clinical technologies and advanced solutions in AI, diagnostics, therapeutics, and rehabilitation, alongside products for everyday wellness and health foods. Visitors also engaged in an interactive, augmented tour of the exhibition organized by the MARMA tech lab.
Additionally, the Forum hosted the grand finale of the 2nd All-Russian ‘Technologies for Human Health’ competition. The tournament brought together visionary scientists and researchers from across the nation to present high-potential innovations in health preservation and enhancement. The top-performing projects are now eligible for integration into national healthcare initiatives. Following a rigorous evaluation process, 18 finalists were selected, with an expert panel determining the ultimate winners.
